When students hear the idea of being taught completely on the computer, many of them will encourage it. Exclaiming at the independence they will receive. You wouldn't have to worry about having a ride to class, or doing your homework before you get to class in two hours. However, the drawbacks to attending online classes outweigh the positives.
Starting off with the positives, it would be convient to wake up and not have to worry about getting to class on time. You can pretty much work at your own pace. Everything would be done at home. Studying, taking notes, and working. It would save a lot of money used on transportation or dorm rooms. Another positive is that you would get the same education quality from the online classes as if you attended a regular school. It wreaks many benefits from the normal education routes.
However, the negatives to it all, is that there no social interactions or memories built. College shouldn't just be about academics. It's another step into adulthood. Being trapped within your house will not motivate you. I think online classes are better for older people - not fresh high school graduates. Being taught face to face is much more dynamic than a virtual teacher. But to each is own.
